Pressing against the bar (ront fever)

I want to know what exercise I can do to strengthen the motion where you're pressing against the bar if you were kipping into a front lever. Where you arms are straight and you squeeze your lats and upper back. The only thing I can think of that replicates that motion is working with bands and just pulling down on them to the sides of your hips with straight arms.
